Windows with the same U value as a solid wall
Artisan is proud to be able to introduce a window with the thermal efficiency of solid masonry.
The Weru triple glazed unit offers a thermal efficiency U value of 0.6. This is quite simply the most thermally efficient window currently available on the market.
To give a comparison a 'C' rated window, which complies with current building regulations, has a U value of 1.6.
Designed to allow plenty of solar energy in and very little heat energy to escape, the manufacturers of this unit believe that the energy efficiency alone will see these windows pay for themselves within 10 years. However, with fuel prices rising, who knows how quickly that initial outlay could be recouped?
